TOANO, VA - Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL) says it formalized its compliance and sustainability team as part of an ongoing investment in quality and commitment to responsible sourcing.

Lumber Liquidators Expands Customs Compliance OfficersRaymond Cotton, who was appointed Chief Compliance and Sustainability Officer in February 2014 - reporting directly to Robert M. Lynch, Chief Executive Officer, named  Lisa Kuca as Director, Global Product Compliance, and Rebecca Rizzuti as Director, Global Trade and Customs Compliance.

"We believe in the importance of being an environmentally conscientious company, and are pleased to take this next step in our ongoing corporate responsibility efforts," Lynch said. Last year, Lumber Liquidators became the subject of an investigation by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations, which was looking into alleged illegal importation of protected wood. Investigators visit Lumber Liquidators headquarters in Toana, VA, and a nearby retail store. 

Cotton joined Lumber Liquidators from Riverbed Technology, where he was head of global technology; and previously serving in executive roles at Facebook, Orchard Supply Hardware, TJ Maxx, and Target.
