TORONTO — Cobot Intelligence will demonstrate its C.I. Sanding Solution at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo, November 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
The company says it plans to showcase major system upgrades including the ability to sand cabinet door edges with precision for a flawless finish.
Cobot Intelligence offers three models.
1. The Cabinet Door Sanding Solution, with an ABB Gofa robot, is the first of its kind. Using real-time laser profiling, the robot instantly measures each door and automatically determines the optimal sanding pathway; no manual adjustments are required. Cobot Intelligence says this solution cuts sanding time in half, effectively allowing users to double production capacity.

2. C.I Sanding Solution for Cabinet Doors can double output, the company says. For example, Olympic Doors has gone from sanding 75 doors by hand to 150 doors per day with the cobot solution. It’s designed to help small-to-mid sized operations boost productivity while maintaining consistent quality.

3. C.I Sanding Solution for Large Doors offers simple setup backed by two-day training and ongoing customer support. It is well suited for oversized doors and panels,
