MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Axiom Precision Group, a manufacturer of CNC machining centers, will feature the AR8 Pro+ Series CNC machine at booth #1738 of the 2019 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo.

The Pro+ Series includes a 3-hp electro-spindle with an integrated liquid cooling system. It is built with precision ball screws, prismatic guides, a steel frame, and an interlocking aluminum table. The Pro+ Series is available with three different cutting capacities: 24 in. x 24 in., 24 in. x 36 in. and 24 in. x 48 in. All three tables feature a 6-in. Z-Axis travel capacity and are available with an optional fourth axis rotary kit and a JTech 4.2w laser kit. 

The Axiom CNC Machine does not have to be attached to a computer to program. Files can be transferred from a RichAuto handheld controller via a USB.

Axiom will also exhibit the Stratus air filtration system, that it says “addresses the shortcomings of ceiling-mounted systems.” The Stratus is designed to draw airborne dust down away from a machine operator’s mouth and nose and “then propels clean, filtered air up where we breathe,” Axiom says.

According to Axiom, the Stratus features nearly 15 times more filter media than a standard ceiling-mounted filter. The portable unit is built with a 360° handle and wide base and has a 16-ft power cord.. 

The Stratus has a pleated canister filter with washable pre-filter to capture dust from the air. With the addition of an optional activated charcoal insert, it can eliminate smoke, fumes and odors, Axiom says.
