Implementing & Sustaining Continuous Improvement – How Do Wood Firms Make It Work?
Phil Ginter

This presentation by Phil Ginter of FP Innovations, at WMS 2015, is aimed at all sized wood manufacturing companies, and addresses implementing and sustaining continuous improvement.

Much has been said about Continuous Improvement (CI) and its benefits, but often we do not hear about how companies are successfully implementing CI in their plants.

The benefits of CI are well known and include decreased lead times, improved margins and quality, less employee turnover, increased floor space and improved inventory management.

One of the main obstacles to a successful implementation is sustaining the positive changes. In this session you will hear about companies that are using a systematic approach to CI and as a result, are seeing lasting benefits.
