Video: Cricket Club of India’s Forest of Knowledge library

MUMBAI, India — This short film reflects on the design and use of the Forest of Knowledge imagined by the architectural firm studio HINGE.

The principal material used for the library is timber, with the windows in yellow cedar and the furniture in western hemlock. Because it is very difficult to find native species which are sustainably harvested in India, Canadian timber from FSC sources was used.
