Including: – XL/8 Hot Press for laminating veneer and HPL to panels and a Formatic Fluid Membrane Press for 3-D lamination of wood veneer to shaped MDF panels such as raised panels for passage doors or cabinet doors. Of special notation, see the Formatic’s unique characteristics that allows 3-D lamination of today’s very popular high-gloss RTF thermofoils with unparalleled appearance quality. There are a couple of other units that are not at the show that need special mention as well including: Matrix 3-D laminating press and the Modular Deep Tray for laminating curved parts. The Matrix is Italpresse’s top of the line 3-D laminating press for RTF thermofoil components featuring a panel scanning system with fully automatic pin pedestal system and an automatic rollover unloading system. The Modular Deep Tray was recently introduced as an optional feature for Italpresse’s Estrema 3-D laminating press that allows RTF thermofoil to be laminated to curved parts. The system is a 3-tier modular frame that creates chamber depths ranging from 2” up to 7”.
