Create your own sawblade-sharpening jig
Instead of sending a dull saw blade to a sharpening firm or simply choosing to buy a new one, sharpen it yourself.
 
In a relatively simple fashion, this unnamed Japanese designer shows how to build a homemade saw blade sharpener. The only tools and materials needed are an angle grinder and some plywood. 
 
The designer has also made provisions for sharpening blades with alternatingly angled bevels on their teeth.
