At the AWFS Vegas Fair, SawStop introduced its new 10-inch Professional Cabinet Saw, featuring a new dust collection system and its patented safety system. Its braking system stops the blade within 5 milliseconds when it detects that the blade has contacted the operator’s skin.

A real crowd pleaser, SawStop demonstrated its braking system hourly at the Vegas Fair on its original model, the Industrial Cabinet Saw. For the demo, a hot dog is used to simulate the human finger. Watch segments of the demonstration on the show floor in these videos.
