Closets & Organized Storage announces 2022 Top Shelf Design Awards judges
NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa –  Closets & Organized Storage magazine announced judges for its 2022 Top Shelf Design Awards. The contest honors designers for their creative closet and home organizational designs. 
 
2022 judges include Angelia York, Saint Louis Closet Co., Maplewood, Missouri; Tim Coleman, SCE Unlimited; and DeVoe and Angel Martin, Affordable Closets Plus.
  • Angelia York is vice president of Saint Louis Closet Co. and has been a Top Shelf Design Awards judge since the contest’s inception.
  • Tim Coleman is the division manager of the Chicago branch of SCE Unlimited, a division of Installed Building Products (IBP).
  • DeVoe and Angel Martin are past winners of Top Shelf Design Awards and owners of Affordable Closets Plus.
Top Shelf Design Awards winners will be announced at a reception held Wednesday, April 28 at the San Diego Convention Center during the Closets Conference & Expo, April 27-29 in San Diego, California
 
Each category winner will receive a plaque and will be featured in Closets & Organized Storage magazine and on Woodworking Network’s social media platforms. The Best of Show winner, determined by the project receiving the highest score, will receive a $500 cash prize. 
 
Each Top Shelf Design Award entry is judged based on the following criteria: 50 percent appearance/design (emphasizing design creativity) and 50 percent functionality and quality of construction/materials.
