Rockler's new corner key doweling jig clamps to the corner of a box and guides an extended-length bit through the joint at a 45-degree angle. Adjustable to work with different thicknesses of stock and to allow fine-tuning of the hole position, the jig includes interchangeable 1/8-, 1/4-, and 3/8-inch diameter drilling guides. Once set, the jig can be moved and reclamped to drill a series of matching holes. As part of the product rollout, Rockler is also offering a free downloadable plan for a kitchen knife block that incorporates a decorative corner dowel pattern created with the jig.

Wagner Meters' new Orion line of wood moisture meters feature dual-depth measurement and true NIST-traceable in-field calibration. The Orion model 950 can collect data in either manual or automatic mode with viewable moisture stats, can hold data storage of up to 100 readings, and can provide a high-low-average analysis. It is also capable of calculating the equilibrium moisture content of the environment where wood is stored while also interacting through Bluetooth technology with both Woodshop MC and FloorSmart free mobile apps.

Accurate Technology's ProTable-CAB2 system uses two ProScale measuring systems placed in an X-Y configuration. With options that include a third axis measurement system for drawer depth, or an angular measurement system for out-of-square measurements, ProTable is available in three configurations, the CAB, the CAB V, and the CAB S. The ProTable-CAB model uses a ProScale LCD digital readout on each of the measuring axes. The readouts are each powered by a lithium battery, making the entire measuring system portable.

Accurate Technology offers nine different ProScale general purpose linear measuring systems with either absolute or incremental technology. The company says the absolute measuring systems will not lose position due to signal interruption or power loss, but the incremental technology measuring systems might. The absolute systems are limited to slew rates of 10 inches/second without customization, while the incremental systems are limited to slew rates of 80 inches/second.
