The new Powermatic 3520C lathe features adjustable riser blocks, movable control box, ergonomic spindle lock, digital speed and indexing readout, and an anti-rotation tailstock key. Driven by a 2 HP, 1PH, 220V motor that can manage large, off-balance work pieces, the versatile 3520C can tackle a wide variety of projects from turning custom balusters and table legs to handcrafting bowls, vases, and pens. Providing a full 36in. working distance between centers, and an upgraded banjo that incorporates a non-marring, pinch-style clamp for solid tool rest placement, the lathe also features Acme threads, a set of dead-centers, and a sliding hammer knockout rod with a brass tip.
