Next Wave Automation says its new Mini 4th Axis Kit brings lathe functionality to small format CNCs by allowing users to create precision turned spindles, pens, game pieces, and intricate carvings. It features a plug and play design, which allows it to be bolted to the bed of CNC Piranha and CNC Shark models. It also features a self-centering, three-jaw micro chuck with a two-inch diameter and is compatible with VCarve Desktop 9.5+ and any version of VCarve Pro.
