Newman Machine Company introduces the EQ3 Equalizing Module, an IWF 2012 Challengers Award Entry.  The module is available as a retrofit for existing planers or as a new EQ3 Equalizing Planer. The EQ3 Module prepares rough lumber for the planer, resulting in finished boards that have a properly divided cut, an improvement over existing self-centering planers, says the company.  The EQ3 equalizing technology provides boards that are flatter, straighter, have fewer splits, and have improved surfaces for optimizing, says the company, providing a higher quality finish and increasing yield up to 10%.
