Bosch Power Tools introduces the OS50VC Half-Sheet Orbital Sander, providing maximum comfort for extended sanding applications, says the company. It features Bosch’s vibration control suspension system, which includes eight foam heavy-duty blocks that isolate the grip area of the tool from the motor and gear section to keep the amount of vibration reaching users’ hands to a minimum. Also featured is the Sheetloc Supreme paper clamping system, which automatically tensions sanding paper as it is being clamped to ensure it is taut for each use and 3.4 amp power rating. The OS50VC comes with an microcellular backing pad that conforms to different contours and it accepts stick-on paper, too. Also included is a variable speed dial, multiple ergonomic soft-grip locations and a removable auxiliary handle, for use in tight spaces. The sand offers two methods of dust collection. Using the included hose connections, the sander can be hooked up to a vacuum cleaner or the translucent microfilter dust canister with integrated paper filter and cap. The OS50VC Half-Sheet Orbital Sander retails for $379. An optional L-Boxx with foam inlay is available for transport and storage.
