The redesigned WL 4 single-shaft shredder for waste wood, available from Weima America, has a working width of 600mm with a rotor made of solid material, a manually changeable perforated screen to define chip size, and a feed hopper with a free-cutting function to prevent material bridging.

New features include a gearbox specially developed by Weima ensures maximum availability and protects against unexpected shocks and vibrations caused by interfering materials. It also feature a maintenance-free V-belt improved the hydraulic unit, which is protected inside the machine, and an optimized PLC control unit.
