New Laqva Prime Universal from AcromaPro provides high performance
CLEVELAND, Ohio – AcromaPro announces Laqva Prime Universal, a very low VOC single-component alternative to catalyzed solvent-based wood primers for finishers of opaque kitchen cabinets, residential furniture, and architectural millwork.

A clean, smooth white universal primer, Laqva Prime Universal can be used to prepare indoor wood and medium density fiberboard (MDF) surfaces for water topcoats, waterborne UV products, nitrocellulose lacquers, catalyzed varnishes and catalyzed polyurethanes.

Laqva Prime Universal is formaldehyde-free, with very low VOC levels and no reportable VHAPS, which helps finishing shops meet VOC emission standards. The single component system reduces product handling from catalyzation and solvents, eliminating pot life issues.  Fast dry-to-touch and dry-to-sand time properties enhance shop productivity.

“Laqva Prime Universal meets the growing industry need for a high performance waterborne primer to help finishers achieve sustainability goals,” said Joe Spencer, sales director, AcromaPro. “It’s also versatile, allowing woodworkers to use a single primer while reducing inventory.”

AcromaPro is sold through a network of authorized coatings distributors across the U.S. and Canada. Learn more about Laqva Prime Universal at www.acromapro.com or email [email protected].
