The Johnson Hardware 2060SC heavy-duty soft-close pocket-door frame kit is engineered specifically for premium applications and oversized doors up to 10 feet tall and weighing up to 330 pounds. The kit includes a ready-to-install frame header assembly for a 2x6 wall opening, a heavy-duty overhead track, all-steel split studs, high-capacity door hangers, soft-close dampeners and mounting hardware — so large doors glide smoothly, close gently and perform reliably. The soft-close feature improves usability by reducing door noise and slamming as it opens and closes.

A jump-proof design prevents the door from falling off the track, and a quick-release locking tab allows for door removal without tearing apart the wall. Self-adjusting floor brackets are designed to compensate for floor settling that may occur over time. Two door guide options – hidden and standard –  are included in the kit for ease of installation.

Meanwhile, the companion 1515 Ply Clip set allows fast installation with 5/8-inch plywood (not included)—supporting objects such as cabinetry and tile installed on the pocket door walls.
