DeWalt adds the 12V MAX* brushless one-handed cordless reciprocating saw(DCS312) to its Xtreme Subcompact Series. It is optimized for one-handed use in a variety of applications including wood, says the company. The saw weighs 3.04 lbs. and is 12.12-in. in length. It features a brushless motor and delivers up to 2,800 SPM with a 5/8 in. stroke length. It has an LED for visibility, a variable-speed trigger, and a tool-free blade release. A variety of uses includes woodworking and remodeling and the subcompact size can be used in hard to reach spaces, adds the company.
