The 7 Degree Solutions' 7D Clip System is engineered for precise installations of wood panels, cabinets, acoustical panels, and glass panels in one-third of the time, the company says. Z Clips allow users to install items without screwing into the face of the object being hung. The company's products include the 7D Z Clip for wall panels, 7D Z Clip for panel rail, and the 7D Z Clip 4" and 6" shims.     

Unlike traditional aluminum Z clips, the 7 Degree Solutions' Z Clip system has a precisely engineered 7-degree bevel paired with a shim also designed at a 7-degree angle. The company says this system ensures seamless alignment and adaptability for any surface.

Installation begins with a wall prepped using the industry standard process. The company's 7-degree Z clips are positioned at precise elevations marking placements with a story pole to ensure perfect alignment with panel screws. The screws are partially backed out preparing for the shimming that will align the Z-clips true and straight setting the stage for a finished wood panel to hang flawlessly.
