Compost containers with soft-close
Rev-A-Shelf now offers a line of containers that feature a self-contained compost bin that the company says will save you money and keep odors out of your kitchen. These practical solutions let you discard food scraps and easily transfer them to a larger compost bin for future use in flower beds, gardens and lawns.
The 5349 door mount compost container is available in two configurations– a single compost or a single compost with a 35 qt polymer waste bin. The double is designed for 18-in. base cabinets and the single is designed for a 30-in. sink base or 15-in. base cabinets and has rear storage for additional bags. Both feature heavy duty, brushed aluminum, soft-close, 85 lbs rated slides, a fully adjustable (10-in. high) door mount frame (may require door mount extension brackets, sold separately).
The compost bin features biodegradable liners, a no-mess trash carriage that opens when the lid is raised and seals when the lid is closed, a carbon filter that eliminates odors and air vents to help speed the composting process.
