Rockler says its new I-Semble brackets for adding shelves to hairpin leg furniture can be positioned at any shelf height. Made from black nylon, the brackets fit on 3/8in.-diameter rods of standard, two-rod hairpin legs and are hidden almost entirely under the shelf after installation. The eight brackets needed for one set of legs can hold up to 25 pounds. Also available for hairpin legs are matching rubber feet that fit onto 3/8- and 1/2- inch-diameter legs. The company also offers a free, downloadable plan for a hairpin leg coffee table with a shelf.
