The Collins Companies introduces two new formaldehyde-free particleboard offerings, The Collins Pine FreeForm Particleboard and Collins Pine Particleboard. Both are Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC)-Certified Western pine particleboard with no added formaldehyde. Both Collins Pine FreeForm and Pine Particleboard are CARB Phase 2-Certified, available moisture resistant, contain 100 percent post-industrial wood fiber with excellent machinability and high pine content, says the company. The products, in addition to being safe and sustainable, help improve air quality in homes, schools and buildings, according to the company, while offering a dense, strong particleboard that is consistent in color and texture.
