Xcel-Edge from SNX technologies provides low cost, high-quality chemicals for edgeband machine spray systems. The XE series of chemicals are made with eco-friendly formulas and work in spray systems installed in all major edgebander manufacturer’s machines. XE chemical agents come in five different formulas, the XE1 all-purpose cleaning agent, the XE2 glue separating agent, the XE3 anti-static and cooling agent, the XE4 finishing agent, and the XE5 machine cleaner. Offered in five container sizes including two cloth wipe containers (XE4 and XE5), XE chemical agents are versatile industrial agents that dry fast and leave no reside on laminated panels.

SNX Technologies offers nVision semi-automatic contour banders/trimmers. The System1 G3 is a single articulated vacuum pod arm machine, while the System2 G3 offers non-stop part processing with its dual arm configuration. Both models feature three-axis geometry, streamlined touchscreen PLC controls, and digital readouts, and both are capable of banding and trimming small laminate panels, or those up to 8 ft long and weighing as much as 230 lbs.

ShopBot's Handibot large-sheet tool is a portable CNC with extended reach designed to take on large products. At the press of a button, it can perform repeatable cutting, carving, machining, and milling operations while working with wood, MDF, plastics, foams, and aluminum. The large sheet tool’s rigid frame clamps onto pieces of material up to 24 inches wide and it features FabMo, a built-in digital fabrication and motion control system. The tool has wheels on each side, providing the capability to move it like a roller-board suitcase.

Thermwood’s Cut Ready Cut Center can be used for cabinets, closets, furniture, doors, drawers, mouldings, and more. Sizes can be changed with no programming and the company says it can help users develop custom libraries and install them into the machine. The machine can also be operated as a CNC router in the traditional manner, running programs generated with virtually any CNC software.

ShopBot's Desktop MAX features a 36 x 24-in. tool bed for a variety of cutting, drilling, and carving operations on a variety of materials including wood, MDF, plastics, foams, vinyl, and aluminum. Customers can choose from the versatile, easy-to-remove aluminum tool deck, or the universal vacuum hold down deck kit for quick hold down of larger sheet goods.

Biesse’s Stream A is a high-production edgebander capable of end trimming up to 25m per minute and handling 22mm solid wood edges. When paired with Biesse’s Winner W4, the company says the Stream A delivers a combination of Industry 4.0 efficiency and simplicity. The system rotates, unloads, and stacks the panels at the end of each machining cycle which could result in an increase in production and a reduction in labor cost. The Stream A features a 21.5 inch touch-screen control with all major machine functions controlled by servo motors.

ShopBot says its smaller-sized Desktop can perform a wide range of workbench, prototyping, and production projects while delivering engraving level precision. The 24x18 in. cutting bed is available with an optional aluminum “T” slot extrusion with an MDF spoilboard deck, or a universal vacuum hold down with plywood plenum and MDF spoil board. It also has the option for either a router or industrial spindle.
