ShopBot says its smaller-sized Desktop is a digital fabrication powerhouse that can perform a wide range of workbench, prototyping, and production projects while delivering engraving level precision, and the power to machine parts from wood, plastic, aluminum, and other materials. The 24 by 18 inch cutting bed is available with an optional aluminum “T” slot extrusion with an MDF spoilboard deck, or a universal vacuum hold down with plywood plenum and MDF spoil board. It also has the option for either a router or industrial spindle.
