Felder's newly-designed G360 edgebander can edge material thicknesses of up to 5mm. It features radius scraping, glue scraping, a pre-milling unit, and a buffing unit. It also features a quick-set system for adjustments to different material's thickness.

Rehau's LaserEdge uses a laser and hot air technology to create a seamless, adhesive-free finish. It has a pre-applied functional layer that replaces the traditional glue used to apply edgeband and can be used with all zero-joint edgebanding technologies including hot-air, laser, plasma and NIR. The company says the bond is heat and moisture resistant.

Putsch says its EBP 420 compact edgebander offers increased panel workability in a footprint comparable to the EBP 320. DC Distributing will stock additional Formica edgebanding matches. The edgebanding will be added to match Formica MicoDot and Plex finishes.
