Safety Speed says its American-made vertical panel saws need less space and help manufacturers increase production. The saws cut and rout material up to 1.75” thick, within 1/64”, straight and square. The company says the machines are ideal for shops that do heavy amounts of both sizing and routing of full-size panels.

Designed for small to medium shops, the Casadei Flexa 27 automatic edgebander is engineered for flexibility comes equipped with the MEGA 200 PLC controller. Available from JKL Machinery, the Flexa 27 features an industrial feed track, two motor end trim, double top and bottom trim, and scraping and buffing units. It can apply tape, PVC, laminate or wood banding on panels with a standard thickness up to 50mm.

Padsmore offers new rotating quick-release blocks for Morbidelli CNC routers. The blocks share a unique base, which allows for the placement of different tops in seconds. Advantages also include the ability to rotate to any angle and replaceable side kick. The company has been serving the woodworking industry since 2002.

Thermwood announced the LSAM MT, a lower cost moving table version of its LSAM (large scale additive system). Several larger customers requested an enclosed machine configuration that is the same size as the MT, but configured like the larger LSAM high wall systems. This system uses the walls from the larger LSAM systems with the gantry, control and sub-systems from the MT.

The Schelling s45 panel saw is designed to cut-to-size from different angles, and offers the production capabilities of a heavy-duty horizontal saw with the flexibility of a miter saw, says the company. It is designed to cut edges at any angle between 0 and 46 degrees with a programmed, automatic tilting saw carriage. Users can combine precision grooving with the cut to size process or kerf entire panels, adds IMA Schelling.
