Shepley and Andersen Windows give $5,000 to Habitat for Humanity

YARMOUTH, Mass. – After Andersen Windows awarded it its inaugural Dealer Community Service Award and $5,000, Massachusetts-based Shepley Wood Products gave the money to Habitat for Humanity's Cape Cod division.
 
Andersen awarded Shepley because of its support and contributions to local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and Cape Cod Healthcare.

Townhouse, single-family starts forecast to grow: NAHB

BOSTON – Despite concerns about the condition of the economy, there are still many positive factors affecting housing expansion. A presentation by Robert Dietz of the National Association of Home Builders on housing trends, demographics, construction metrics, inventory and forecasts focused on positive and negative factors affecting housing growth. A few takeaways from that presentation at the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America meeting in Boston: --The new townhouse market is expanding, and Dietz sees this as a real growth market.
