MARKHAM, ON – Flakeboard and Metso signed a license agreement in January, 2007, regarding the manufacturing equipment and installation of dry-resin blending technology at Flakeboard’s MDF plants in North America. ZEELAND, MI – Herman Miller Inc. has announced its results for the third quarter ended March 3. Sales for the quarter increased 14.3% and orders grew 15.2% from the same period in 2006. The company says the order backlog is at the highest third-quarter level in its history, a 23.4% improvement over the prior-year levels. Net earnings were $32.3 million, an increase of 44.2% over net earnings from the same period of the previous year.
