LA VERGNE, TN — WMH Tool Group Americas has changed its name to Walter Meier Mfg. Americas Inc., according to PRWeb. The name change is part of a global effort aimed at leveraging the presence of its European parent company, Walter Meier AG, to bring manufacturing products to a global market. Worldwide name recognition of the Walter Meier organization also was a key factor.

The Jet and Wilton brands are being expanded from an American staple to a global market. The company also announced a new global brand Web site, jetwilton.com. The Powermatic brand continues operations under powermatic.com in North America.
