Westridge Cabinets Ltd., Reed Deer Count, Alberta-based manufacturer of kitchen cabinetry, has been acquired by Signal Hill, and equity firm.

Westridge Cabinets was founded in 1983 with the acquisition of a sales branch office from Crestwood Cabinets Ltd. At the time manufacturing was outsourced. In 1986 it opened its first plant.
In 2000, Westridge opened a new 50,000 sq. ft. factory and office facility near Red Deer, Alberta,, then added 40,000 square feet to its factory and warehouse. It now employs around 300 in manufacturing, marketing, sales, installation, service and administration, making Westridge Cabinets Alberta's largest fully-integrated cabinet manufacturer, serving both the new home construction and renovation segments of the market.
Westridge Cabinets' manufacturing facility now totals 140,000 square feet. Westridge Cabinets has showrooms and localized design, service and installation centres in Red Deer, Edmonton, Calgary and most recently, Lethbridge.
