NEW YORK -- "New Rules on CARB" will be the topic of a free one-hour webinar to be hosted by SGS Consumer Testing Services at 2 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, August 17.
The presentation will address the latest regulations on formaldehyde emissions in composite wood products – including a new U.S. law plus recent changes to the 2007 standards set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) – and their impact on U.S. retailers, distributors and manufacturers of products such as furniture, consumer shelving, DIY products, flooring, paneling, moulding and picture frames.
The August 17 webinar will cover topics including new emissions limits, labeling requirements, sell-through exemptions, enforcement actions, destructive testing, and factory and product certification. The presentation will be hosted by Chuck Coletta, technical director - International Hardlines, for SGS Consumer Testing Services in North America.
