U.S. top destination for woodworking machinery exports

MILAN, Italy - According to statistics provided by Xylexpo Fair organizer, ACIMALL, the United States was the number one destination for imported woodworking machinery in 2017. Shipments of woodworking machinery to the United States totaled approximately $1.735 billion.  China and Germany received $636 million and $605 million worth of woodworking machinery imports respectively to round off the top three destinations.
 
At the same time, Germany remained the number one exporter of woodworking machinery at $2.8 billion, followed by Italy at $1.71 billion and China at $1.62 billion.
