CHICAGO -- Teragren, a designer and manufacturer of bamboo building products, and Vaughan Benz, a manufacturer of hospitality furniture, announced a new partnership to create bamboo furniture for commercial applications during Greenbuild 2010.
Vaughan Benz is now offering custom-made bamboo cabinetry, tables and seating made with FSC-certified Teragren bamboo panels and veneer, to hotels, restaurants and healthcare facilities worldwide.
“With more global specifications for Teragren bamboo products, we felt it critical to partner with a U.S.-based company with a solid reputation such as Vaughan Benz to develop a customized program for the hospitality industry,” said Teragren President and CEO David Knight.
“Our customers are increasingly asking us to find manufacturing solutions that are environmentally sustainable, including low-VOC and FSC-certified products. We are proud to partner with Teragren, as their leadership in providing environmentally friendly bamboo products for the woodworking industry is exemplary,” said David Benz, president of Vaughan Benz.
