Weinig's in-house exhibition, InTech, saw 1,200 invited guests from 30 countries come to Tauberbischofsheim to find out about the range of equipment and the latest developments.
In addition to many interested parties from Germany and Europe, groups also came from Asia and Latin America.
"Wood as a CO2 neutral material is attractive and for us as a full-line provider for solid wood processing the outlook for next year is good, with the leading trade fair Ligna in May as the culmination" said Klaus Müller, head of marketing and communication for Weinig.
Weinig officials said 38 machines were sold and that they expect follow-up business.
