Smart home technology provider and home builder enter into partnership

HYANNIS, Mass. — Savant, a provider in smart home and smart power technology, entered into a strategic partnership with Timber Block, a premium custom home builder.

The partnership brings together Timber Block’s expertise in high-performance custom homebuilding with Savant’s state-of-the-art smart lighting, climate, and energy management technologies.

“Today’s homeowners want more than beautiful design. They want homes that work for them, that simplify everyday living and make better use of energy. Our partnership with Savant reflects that evolution and allows us to deliver an even more complete vision of modern luxury living,” said Jeff Allen, US Sales Director at Timber Block. “The alliance reflects a shared commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and the future of the modern home.”

Savant technologies that will be integrated into Signature Home series residences include smart lighting controls and fixtures powered by Savant’s award-winning app that gives users access to a proprietary scene engine and daylight mode, which mimics natural sunlight to help support wellness and circadian rhythms. The Savant Smart Panel will give homeowners the ability to monitor and control energy use from the Savant app. Custom climate features via the GE Smart Thermostat will give homeowners the ability to control temperature and comfort remotely using the Savant app’s scene engine and scheduling functionality.

“Great homes today are expected to do more than inspire visually. They must also anticipate and serve the needs of modern living through technology,” said JC Murphy, Chief Commercial Officer at Savant. “Our partnership with Timber Block brings together advanced smart home features and exceptional design to create homes that are elegant, efficient, and deeply responsive to the people who live in them.”
