Rev-A-Shelf Plans 315,000 Sq. Ft. PlantLOUISVILLE, KY - Cabinetry and closet hardware and LED lighting supplier Rev-A-Shelf will break ground on a 315,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in a business park about 15 miles east of downtown Louisville.

Rev-A-Shelf, which employs 300 in the area, says it will consolidate three local operations into a single state-of-the-art facility. The 30.45 acre tract will also accommodate future expansion. Ground will be broken in May, with a completion date of March 2014.

"We have confidence in the fundamental strength of the North American cabinet industry and the role organizational products and L.E.D. lighting will have in future consumer trends," said David Noe, GM of Rev-A-Shelf LLC. "This new facility will give us the ability to better serve our current customers and allow for expansion into new market segments. Our molding operation will be much more eff¬icient and facilitate our needs for growth.”

In addition to manufacturing, the new building will house an expanded testing facility, modern showrooms, and an interactive training facility.

Founded as a division of Ajax Hardware of California, Rev-A-Shelf in 1978 became a division of Jones Plastics and Engineering, a family owned injection molder of appliances parts, and other custom polymer components.
