BESSEMER CITY, N.C. -- Precision Drive Systems, a provider of precision motor spindle support and repair, is celebrating its 25th year.

The company was originally founded in 1996 in Bessemer City as the North American sales and service center of Giordano Colombo spindles. This location was chosen to be the PDS corporate headquarters because of its close proximity to manufacturing centers in the southeastern United States.

PDS serves U.S. customers from its service center in Bessemer City and European customers from its repair facility in Lohne, Germany, and has technical service partners dedicated to assisting and supporting customers around the globe.

Since 1996, PDS’ factory-trained engineers and technicians have rebuilt more than 40,000 spindles for manufacturers worldwide. PDS stocks an extensive line of new and rebuilt spindles, gauges, aggregates and variable frequency drives manufactured by the world’s leading companies for quick delivery. PDS engineers also custom design integrated spindle system end effectors for the robotics automation industry. These flexible systems give manufacturing robots the ability to perform complex multi-axis machining. www.SpindleRepair.com
