Planit Canada invites woodworkers to be awesome at SIBO 2020

DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec - Planit Canada says its brands have been carefully chosen to drive every aspect of the design-to-manufacture process and improve the efficiency of woodworking operations. Planit invites woodworkers looking to ramp up production, automate processes, make more money, and stop wasting time, to visit booth #600 at Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO), April 23-25, 2020 at the Centrexpo Cogeco. "We invite you to challenge our team to demonstrate how our solutions can make your business more awesome." the company says.

Planit plans to display a range of its productivity solutions, including the following.

  • Cabinet Vision is a widely-used software in the woodworking industry for the manufacture of closets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets and other millwork projects. Go right from 3D presentation to manufacturing in moments. Planit will show new features in the latest version and answer questions about modules, cut lists, costing and bidding, and more. Millworkers can ask about the submittals package. The Screen-to-Machine center will generate codes for most CNC machines, so users can avoid going through intermediaries and incurring additional costs and delays.
  • Vortek Spaces is a sales tool which allows the use of virtual 3D technology to impress clients by quickly and easily customizing colours and materials on the fly and enabling them to sign their name on the dotted line more quickly. (Watch video below.)
  • Leica Geosystems DISTO lasers provide detailed digital measurements in 3D to improve processes by making templating simple and increasing the accuracy of projects. Planit will demonstrate how the direct link to Cabinet Vision can be a game-changer. Watch video.
  • WEB-CAB is a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that will optimize a shop by allowing users to track, document, and control their operations. Planit personnel can explain the 5-day implementation and fast ROI. "It’s easier than you think to get into Industry 4.0," Planit says. (Watch video above.)

"Our vision is to eliminate any task that is detrimental to creativity, productivity or profitability so that all Canadian woodworkers can get back to the business of making beautiful things, enjoying their lives, and loving their families," Planit says. "In short, we want our entire extended family to be awesome in every way."
