GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The office furniture industry grew 5.5% in 2007, according to mlive.com.
Reportedly, the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Assn. said industry-wide shipments in North America increased to $11.42 billion, which is up from $10.82 billion in 2006. The trend is not expected to continue into 2008 as BIFMA’s last quarterly outlook projected flat or slightly lower shipments in 2008.
