Milwaukee Tool plans production, research expansion

BROOKFIELD, Wis. -- Milwaukee Tool will begin construction on another major expansion of its headquarters campus in Brookfield, near Milwaukee. With a total investment of $32 million, the new advanced manufacturing and R&D capacity is expected to create 350 new jobs.

This newest expansion will house the company’s advanced manufacturing, engineering, and global research and development center. The 114,500-square foot, multi-story building starts construction in the third quarter and is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2019, bringing its headquarter space to about 504,500 square feet.

Milwaukee Tool has sustained organic double-digit growth throughout the last decade. The company has focused on the professional trades and developments in cordless technology, accessory engineering, and hand tool and storage products. The company has 3,500 employees nationwide.
