VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Metrie, North America’s largest manufacturer and distributor of millwork productss, will be adding a retail distribution center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Metrie announced that the facility will improve growth with its top retail customer, Lowe’s. The facility will also support efficiency across retail businesses with improved customer service, speed and flexibility.

“The addition of the Louisville facility supports our commitment to building the best supply chain solutions in the industry,” said Joe Woods, vice president and general manager of Metrie Retail. “The Metrie Retail team is excited for the new opportunities that this facility will bring for both the Metrie team and Lowe’s.”

“Growth continues to be on the forefront at Metrie as we continue to expand through new and improved facilities and recent acquisitions. The addition of the Louisville facility is another step in the pursuit of Metrie’s growth strategy – to be North America’s most trusted integrated millwork provider,” said Kent Bowie, president and CEO of Metrie. “In an ever-changing and dynamic industry, we are making commitments and business decisions to continue delivering the exceptional customer service that Metrie is known for. The Louisville facility is one example of how we continue to execute on our customer promise.”

Metrie currently has estimated 2023 sales of more than $1 billion and ranks No.16 in Woodworking Network’s FDMC 300. Earlier this year, Metrie announced expansion into the California market.
