LINCOLN PARK, MI -- Three men face felony criminal charges for allegedly assaulting a 38-year-old man with a power drill.

According to the Detroit News, the alleged crime took place in the basement of the Bada Bing Lounge, The victim was allegedly pistol-whipped then attacked with a portable power drill. He was treated for injuries to his left hand at a nearby hospital.

"The facts of this case allege that one of the defendants used a power drill through the hand of the victim," the newspaper quoted Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy as saying. "This is not a Hollywood movie. The alleged behavior is completely outrageous and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
