EFFINGHAM, Ill. - Lustig Custom Cabinets has received another Best of Houzz award. This is the company's fourth award for Houzz and its third for customer service.

Lustig Custom Cabinets of Effingham has won “Best Of Customer Service” on Houzz, the leading platform for home renovation and design. The local cabinet company handcrafts custom cabinetry.

The custom cabinet company, whose shop we visited in 2015, was chosen by the more than 40 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community from among more than 2.1 million active home building, remodeling and design industry professionals. The Best of Houzz badge is awarded annually for Customer Service honors based on several factors, including a pro's overall rating on Houzz and client reviews submitted in 2018. A “Best Of Houzz 2019” badge will appear on winners’ profiles as a sign of their commitment to excellence. These badges help homeowners identify popular and top-rated home professionals in every metro area on Houzz.

Mike Stanfield of Lustig Custom Cabinets said, “It’s humbling that our small-town company is recognized by such a massive platform such as Houzz. Houzz is a great tool for us to showcase our cabinetry in the amazing homes we have here in the Effingham area.”

In 2015, Stanfield said of his company's customer service: “The thing we do best is customer service. We really do listen to our customers. I’ve never said no to anything. If customers can provide a picture or explain it to me so we can get a drawing of it, we can get it built.”

The family-owned, Effingham, Illinois-based business designs, builds and installs mostly high-end custom furniture, cabinets, and countertops. Ten employees and extensive machinery pack the company’s two buildings, which amount to square footage of just 14,000.
