WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that juvenile furnishings retailer Land of Nod of Northbrook, IL, is voluntarily recalling approximately 300 Rosebud drop-side cribs.

This is the latest in a long series of recalls that have totaled more than 11 million cribs in the past decade. CPSC unanimously voted in December to ban any future manufacture or sale of drop-side cribs effective in June.

The cribs were manufactured by Status Furniture of Quebec, Canada, which is now out of business, according to the CPSC.

CPSC and The Land of Nod have received 13 reports involving drop-side hardware that has malfunctioned or failed. No injuries have been reported.
