MONROE, MI -- La-Z-Boy furniture donated $1 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) for every new Facebook fan and Twitter follower it gained in December.
In 2008, La-Z-Boy became the official furniture provider to RMHC nationwide, providing further comfort and enhancing the supportive environment of a Ronald McDonald House or Ronald McDonald Family Room.
Throughout December, La-Z-Boy updated its Facebook and Twitter pages with a call to increase their supporter-base. In addition, the company utilized la-z-boy.com and its consumer database to build buzz and encourage new fans and followers.
