ATLANTA -- IWF 2014, North America's largest woodworking technology trade show, kicks off  and show organizers are expecting a large turnout. More than 900 exhibitors are showcasing new equipment and supplies.

“We are up across the board, more exhibits, more products and more attendees,” says Rick Hannigan, IWF 2014 chairman and director of marketing for Weinig/Holz-Her.

IWF is on track to outpace 2012. Riccardo Azzoni, WMIA executive vice president, says 220 companies are exhibiting for the first time. But the attraction is more than just the equipment.

WMMA Executive Director Fred Stringfellow notes that IWF is more than just a trade show. “It is also a gathering of the entire industry for networking and education.”
