Garnica appoints two to executive leadership roles

RALEIGH, N.C. — Garnica has named Jonathan Martinez Fernandez as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and promoted Jaime Alvarez Bandres to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), positioning the two leadership moves as part of the company’s continued evolution and growth priorities.

As CHRO, Martínez will focus on aligning talent with strategy, supporting sustainable growth, and strengthening Garnica’s culture as the company continues to evolve. With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Martínez has developed his career across various industrial sectors—including packaging, automotive, and the paper industry—managing teams and high-demand operational environments. His career has been marked by leading HR departments in large plants, as well as participating in international projects and industrial growth processes.

Jaime Álvarez, chief marketing officer (CMO)

 In his new role as CMO, Álvarez will lead the global marketing strategy, with a focus on brand development, market expansion, and aligning Garnica’s value proposition with the evolving needs of architects, designers, and industry partners worldwide. 

With over 15 years of experience in marketing, Jaime began his professional career in the consumer electronics technology sector, leading product marketing initiatives and high-impact strategic projects. His career has encompassed comprehensive marketing management, pricing, product development, and business intelligence, as well as the implementation of growth and digital transformation strategies.
