CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — The assets of CAMaster have been acquired by electrical engineer and contractor Marcus Daiber, who plans to restart production of the CNC machines under a new brand, TruAxis Technologies. The first step will be completing orders from customers affected by CAMaster's closure.
Daiber said nothing about the machines will change, except the branding. He purchased CAMaster’s assets in mid-January and is preparing to resume manufacturing operations this spring. Initial production will focus on the company’s Stinger line of CNC machines, with manufacturing expected to begin in April, followed by the Panther and Cobra Elite models in the months that follow
Alongside restarting production, TruAxis is working to support customers impacted by CAMaster’s liquidation in October. According to Daiber, an approximate 20 to 25 customers who had placed deposits before the company closed will receive priority in completing their machine orders and delivery.
“We are committed to supporting existing customers with their ongoing machine needs. As part of that commitment, we are currently completing orders for customers who had placed deposits prior to the closure," Daiber said in a statement. "While we recognize that we cannot fully offset the impact of the business closure on all affected parties, we are actively working with customers to minimize their losses wherever possible."
TruAxis will run from the original CAMaster facility in Georgia. The company is providing support services for existing CAMaster machines through a customer support line and online portal.
Daiber said the new company also plans to exhibit at the upcoming International Woodworking Fair, where the new brand will be formally introduced to the industry.
