EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. - In tandem with several philanthropic initiatives throughout the region, 84 Lumber has given back to individuals, organizations, and communities in need. Together with 96.1 KISS, Pittsburgh Magazine, WTAE, iHeartMedia, and the Best of the Batch Foundation, 84 Lumber has participated in various holiday initiatives over the winter.

 

Between Nov. 27 and Dec. 1, 84 Lumber partnered with 96.1 KISS for Stuff-A-Bus for the second year in a row and helped drive awareness and facilitate donations to the annual program benefitting Toys for Tots. A total of 59 buses were stuffed with toys and other donations.

 

The company plans to support WTAE’s annual Polar Bear Jump in early Jan. with a $2,500 t-shirt sponsorship and the proceeds benefiting Project Bundle-Up. Also planned for Jan., 84 Lumber will partner with iHeartMedia to build visibility of Winter Warm Up with proceeds going to the Dollar Energy Fund.

 

Together with Pittsburgh Magazine for Give Big Pittsburgh, 84 Lumber helped raise more than $1 million for various organizations throughout the Pittsburgh region. The company donated $10,000 to the Best of the Batch Foundation, discovered and operated by professional football standout Charlie Batch, which will be used to purchase pots and pans for nearly 130 local families.
