SAN DIEGO – A man driving on an interstate in San Diego was nearly killed when a piece of plywood smashed through his windshield.
The plywood, which flew off of a commercial truck traveling in front of his car, smashed through the passenger side windshield – coming to a halt just inches from his mother, who was sitting in the passenger seat.
The driver told San Diego’s 10News that he was forced to take evasive actions. The driver managed to maneuver the car to the shoulder as the glass shattered. Neither the driver nor his mother were injured.
